CHÂTEAU PALMER
CHÂTEAU PALMER 2003
3ème Cru Classé. Cabernet sauvignon 68%, Merlot 20% and Petit verdot 12%. Deep crimson and border to the rim. In the beginning shy and aromatic at the same time. Cassis, Plums and dark Berries but spicy aromas like cloves, pepper and cardamom are more predominant. On the palate the 2003 is quite fresh and shows its aging potential. Full of juice and with rough tannins. Remarkable acidity. It doesn’t have arrived its peak yet (tasted: November 2011). Powerful length. Wait, Hombre! Best from 2016 through 2030+.
